Snow develops across Connecticut today from southwest to northeast between roughly 9 am-1 pm.
Snow falls at rates of 0.5"-1.0" for a few hours before changing to sleet during the afternoon/early evening.
Snow accumulations mostly 2"-3", except 4"-5" in some places north of I-84.
Sleet changes to freezing rain & rain tonight as temperatures rise out of the 20's into the 30's. Icing may persist much of the night near/north of I-84. A change to plain rain and temps getting above 32 more likely toward the coast and across southeastern CT.
A scattered rain or snow shower possible early Wednesday, otherwise becoming partly sunny & breezy, with highs reaching the low 40's.
